Sand Key in Clearwater Florida

Sand Key is located just south of Clearwater Beach across the Sand Key bridge. This bridge spans over Clearwater Pass. Many boats use the pass to get to the Gulf of Mexico or return to the Intracoastal waterways. Sand Key is a barrier island that is part of Clearwater Florida. It is less than a mile wide.
The Gulf front or western side of the island is home to many high rise condominiums with pristine beaches. The Intracoastal Waterway or eastern side of the island is home to single family, townhomes, condos and marinas.
Sand Key park fronts the beach on the north end of the island. A wonderful spot to bring the whole family. Spend the day at the beach, fish, barbeque or just walk.
Sand Key is also home to a U.S. Coast Guard station. the Clearwater Sailing Club, two resort hotels and the Shoppes of Sand Key. This area attracts many visitors and locals for shopping, restaurants and banking. Come see for yourself.
